West Coast

Here are a few pics from our recent travels on the Oregon and northern California coast:

After hiking to a beach called Hidden Beach, we found a tunnel through the rock at the headland (only accessible at low tide) leading to an even more hidden beach. Because the tide was out, there were a lot of starfish and anemones exposed on the rocks.

I was ready to move in!

The last couple are from Crescent City, California. The tsunami that hit Japan in March also destroyed their harbor. Following this the sea lions in the background took up residence on some of the debris from the mooring docks.
