Garibaldi Flight

These are some pictures from our flight over the coast mountains north of Vancouver - a gift from the nice people at Nici's place of work. We have hiked in this area many times. Seeing this landscape from the air was incredible. In the photo above, Mount Garibaldi can be seen in the background with Garibaldi Lake below it. Below is the Black Tusk, the pointy black peak that can be seen from Whistler and the Sea to Sky highway. After our flight, we drove north to spend a couple of nights camping at Forest Rec sites in our new gallivant mobile, the Delica. I caught us a couple of rainbow trout for lunch in Lower Joffre Lake...

  1. Amazing photos, Looks like the best time of year to take that flight. Love the Delica, looks like a serious back road, road tripping vehicle!
