Our new adventure-mobile, the Delica, has taken us on some great exploring trips recently, from snowline, to tide line, to river bank. It makes a great base camp, and frozen, pot hole-covered logging roads are no problem. Here are some pictures we just got back (shot with my Nikon F3 and Nici's Nikon N2020). The mountain pictures, like the one of Nici's above, are from the Mount Baker area, while the ocean beach pictures are from the Olympic Peninsula. The dead salmon and the shotgun-blasted car were in the Squamish River valley, which we discovered after getting a book called The Backroad Mapbook. With this book and our new 4x4 we expect to discover many new places to explore in the coming months and year.
