Disappointment


Here are a few scanned photos from a weekend camping trip with Marty and Jeanette at Cape Disappointment, Washington in November. We had fun exploring the area, taking photos and filming (me with the Super8 and Marty with his new Canon 60D - check out his wicked movie at the bottom of this post!), and eating mussels, oysters, and clams as well as lots of other great things prepared by Jeanette. We drove down to Oregon to check out an old shipwreck on the beach and to hike in Ecola Park, where scenes from "The Goonies" were filmed. We encountered lots of neat wildlife during the weekend including a peregrine falcon, brown pelicans, seals and sea lions, deer (pics below), frogs and salamanders, and a herd of elk.
